n account with no trading activity for a continuous period of six (6) months is treated as an Inactive Account. Inactive accounts may be restricted from trading and are subject to a monthly Inactivity Fee to cover account maintenance.
How the inactivity fee works
Inactivity Fee — 10 USD/EUR (or the equivalent in your account currency), charged separately on each inactive account.
Grace period — 6 months. After 6 months with no trading activity, your account is treated as inactive and you'll receive a notification.
Charge period — monthly. From the end of the grace period, the fee is charged every month while the account stays inactive, and you'll be notified after each charge.
If your remaining balance is less than the fee, the Inactivity Fee will equal your remaining balance.
Accounts with no trading activity for twelve (12) months are treated as Dormant Accounts and may be closed. Additional conditions may need to be met to resume trading on an inactive or dormant account.
For the exact figures, see our Contract Specification.
