Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account. After your password, you enter a one-time code from an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator), so your account stays protected even if someone learns your password.
How to enable 2FA
Go to the Security page in your profile.
Under Two-Factor Authentication, find Google Authenticator (recommended).
Switch the toggle on.
Scan the QR code with the Google Authenticator app on your phone.
Enter the 6-digit code from the app to confirm.
You'll now be asked for a code from the app each time you sign in.
When 2FA is required
Some actions can't be completed unless 2FA is enabled. In particular:
Crypto withdrawals require 2FA.
2FA is also needed to use the Withdraw Whitelist and to set an Anti-Phishing Code.
Lost access to your authenticator?
For your security, 2FA can't be reset by email alone. If you've lost access to your authenticator app (for example, you changed or reset your phone), contact our support team via live chat or at [email protected], and an agent will help you restore access through a secure verification process.
