Proof of identity (PoI)

To verify your identity, you need to upload a valid government-issued document that clearly shows who you are. This helps us confirm your identity and keep your account secure.

Accepted documents

You can upload one of the following:

  • Passport

  • National ID card

Your document must be:

  • Valid and not expired

  • In colour

  • Fully visible, with all four corners shown

  • Clear enough to read your name, date of birth, photo, and document number

Scanned copies or high-quality photos are both accepted. Make sure the text and photo are sharp and easy to read.

Common mistakes

Avoid these issues to prevent rejection:

  • Blurry or dark photos — take the photo in good light

  • Missing corners or cropped image — make sure the full document is visible

  • Black-and-white scans — always upload colour images

  • Expired document — only valid IDs are accepted

  • Reflections or glare — tilt the document slightly to avoid light spots

  • Edited or filtered photos — do not use any effects or software adjustments

  • Partial information — your full name, birth date, and document number must all be visible

If your document was rejected, simply re-upload a clear, complete version.
Once verified, your Proof of Identity will stay valid unless it expires or you change your legal name.
